CEO Richard Walsh noted that while metals and plastics are easier to source domestically, electronics remain difficult. Partnering with Minnesota-based Versa Electronics has helped localize some production.
Pennsylvania-based Channellock, which sources 100% of its materials from within the U.S., remains proud of its American-made label. However, executive Ryan DeArment warned that rising demand for U.S. steel could eventually pressure smaller manufacturers like his.
