The company says the Camry sedan is among the vehicles being considered for shipment to the home market.

One of them was Toyota Motor Chairman Toyoda Akio. They reportedly exchanged views on the business environment in their two countries.
Nissan is another automaker considering importing US-made models. It says it is checking on demand in Japan and assessing profitability.
