Like every company that imports, Build-A-Bear Workshop is being affected by tariffs. Although it pulled forward inventory in anticipation of their impact, the company reported on its second-quarter earnings call an estimated $11 million hit to 2025 income. Nonetheless, it was able to increase its guidance for the full year thanks to a strong first half. “All you got to be is just a little more right than wrong,” Price John says. “And we are a lot more right than wrong.”
