The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) today applauded the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) for formally initiating the process to continue the Section 301 China tariffs that were imposed to combat massive intellectual property theft by China that is directly harming American workers and U.S. manufacturers. As part of the process, USTR received formal requests from domestic producers and workers that have benefited from the Section 301 tariffs, including CPA members across many sectors of the U.S. economy.
